The location felt remote, necessitating various bus trips that could be complicated for newcomers. Sound from adjacent rooms could occasionally be heard. Room space was tight for office work, requiring you to squeeze a laptop into limited tabletop space.

I spent 4 nights in a large twin room, and I loved the spaciousness and the kitchenette, which made preparing meals a breeze. The presence of a washing machine was a huge plus, especially for a longer stay. Even though the place is a bit far from the train station, the quiet neighborhood truly made it feel like a slice of authentic Kyoto away from tourist spots. Just a suggestion, it would be nice to have a plug adaptor available for rent.

convenient location

stay sakura kyoto tsubaki was a great choice! our room had a kitchen area with a washing machine, which made our week-long stay more comfortable. it's within walking distance from the train station, and the 24-hour coffee and tea service was a delightful bonus. having a bus stop so close was super convenient for exploring!

Loved the quiet atmosphere of the hotel and the proximity to Toji Temple, especially stunning at night. The kitchenette and washing machine were fantastic amenities.
